I am a freelance sculptor of models for the Toy,Hobby and Giftware trades around the globe. I am based in England and have been sculpting figures professionally for more than twenty nine years! I work from a very tight brief or can assist with development of ideas through concept sketches and pre-sculpting artwork to bring the ideas of the client to completion. Normally I use a number of different Epoxy putties to create the originals. These putties are robust and demonstrate different properties depending on the desired finish. They produce masters which are robust and can be sent fairly readily anywhere. I am familiar with most tooling methods for injection moulded plastics and metal and resin casting technologies and can make masters which conform to the specialised engineering constraints. I make frequent use of digital photography,scanning and video to support my sculpting for approval purposes. These files allow clients to appraise and approve the models wherever they are.
