  • Seas of the orb - The Hag Elves Fleet

Seas of the orb – The Hag Elves Fleet

    £5.00

    Hag Elves

Populating a series of bleak and austere islands off the southern coast of Infernum, the Servants of Extinction board fleets of slender and swift, clinker-built warships as they navigate the seas of the Orb. Much more than opportunistic marauders of the seas, the Servants of Extinction have a fearsome reputation for military doctrines centred around lightning-fast attacks and the razing of coastal regions.
Hag Elf Titans: Pacey, multi-sailed vessels, Hag Elf Titans are armed with six ballistae; two on port side, two on starboard, one to the bow, and one to the stern.
Hag Elf Slaughter Ships: Smaller versions of Hag Elf Titans, Hag Elf Slaughter Ships are armed with four ballistae; two on port side, and two starboard.
Murdercrafts: Slender boats with a single sail, adorned with evil decoration and dark sigils, Murdercrafts carry troops of Hag Elf Warriors armed with powerful, deadly crossbows.

    Goblins

Often overindulging in alcoholic beverages and consuming vast quantities of stimulants and mind-altering substances, goblins are enthusiastic inventors who tend to disregard safety considerations, this is evident in the race’s fleets of ships and boats. With no thought given to traditional naval design, warships sailed by goblins are like no other; circular seacrafts of wooden and metal construction, powered with the use of multiple sails, and armed with a range of missile weapons, Goblin Warship units are floating fortresses.

    Goblin Warships:

Goblin Warships are huge, chaotically constructed floating fortresses, armed with eight bolt throwers (three to port side, three to starboard, one to the bow, and one to the stern) and a rotating flamethrower positioned to the centre of the vessel.

Kamikaze Boats: Small vessels of wooden construction, propelled through the waves by an above-water fan, Kamikaze Boats are loaded with lots of explosives. Lauded and celebrated for their loyalty to the goblin cause and service to Puck, the crew of a Kamikaze Boat make the ultimate sacrifice.

Raucous Rafts: Carrying troops of rowdy, intoxicated Goblin Warriors, Raucous Rafts are small, hastily constructed wooden boats with a single sail. Though the onboard troops are armed for close combat, with each fitted with a single ballista to the bow, these vessels are often best employed with the task of picking off already weakened units, or disrupting enemy movement.

Balloon Bombers: Hastily constructed flying machines, comprising all manner of components, but all utilising heat to inflate large, buoyant balloons, Balloon Bombers carry a goblin crew which rain bombs onto the enemy beneath them.

Goblin Submarines: Sometimes recovered and converted enemy vessels, other times creations completely of their own invention, Goblins navies often include Goblin Submarines.

Swimming Giants: Encouraged to enter into the waves and support the goblin cause through a promise of a share of the spoils, as well as fuelled through copious supplies of emboldening alcohol, Swimming Giants can prove formidable opponents, as long as they don’t fall victim to exhaustion.

Seas of the orb – The Followers of the Eye

    £5.00

    Followers of the Eye

Typically, the Followers of the Eye construct their fleets of ships and boats using papyrus reeds and lengths of bamboo, sometimes adding extra waterproofing through the use of moss and seaweed-based tar. Though their seacrafts tend to lack sophistication, they are highly manoeuvrable, and the Followers of the Eye do share an affinity with the waves.

Xanthos: The Followers of the Eye’s warships are constructed using natural materials, typically comprising of reeds and bamboo; such is their design, they are pacey and highly manoeuvrable vessels. Preferring to fight at close quarters, these warships are not equipped for missile warfare, instead they carry savage warriors who benefit from the vessels’ corvuses. The largest of the Followers of the Eye’s warships are called Xanthos.

Kaloulas: Smaller versions of Xanthos, Kaloulas carry troops of Monitor-men Warriors, Giant Monitor-men, and hulking Giant Gila Monsters. Just like Xanthos, Kaloulas are equipped with corvuses, ensuring deadly efficiency in engaging enemy vessels in close combat.

Tsitsikamas: Tsitsikamas are the smallest vessels of the Followers of the Eye. Each equipped with a single bolt thrower positioned to the bow, and manned by keen-eyed Toad-men, Tsitsikamas are twin-sailed reed boats.

Giant Flamingos: Soaring through the skies atop great, pink-feathered flamingos, Tegu Warriors drop canisters of poisonous snakes onto enemy troops below.

  • SEAS OF THE ORB - THE FIENDS FLEET

SEAS OF THE ORB – THE FIENDS FLEET

    £5.00

    Fiends

    Khainags:

Vessels of the Fiends tend to be filthy and fetid, their creaking decks layered with excrement and dismembered corpses, while the surrounding air is thick with disease-carrying flies. The Fiends’ Khainags are widely considered floating cesspools by the Orb’s other races. More than simply being stench-filled ships, Khainags are mobile melee machines which carry troops of frenzied Fiendish Warriors and bloodthirsty, muscle-strewn Minotaurs across the waves.

Crudely constructed warships which drip with savage menace, Khainags are highly manoeuvrable vessels which are designed to enable the troops of fighters onboard to quickly engage in close combat. These vessels are also fitted with two ballistae; one to the bow, and one to the centre of the ship.

Aurochs: Effectively smaller versions of Khainags, Aurochs also carry troops of Fiendish Warriors and Minotaurs. Though designed for quickly bringing onboard troops into close combat upon the waves, these vessels are also fitted with a single ballista to the centre of the ship.

War Canoes: Driven by dark hearts and an unhallowed hunger for human flesh, settlements of Fiends draw many human cultists. Living on the outskirts of the Fiends’ different kingdoms, and surviving as cannibals, consuming vast quantities of intoxicating blood-based broths, these cultists soon adopt the mindset of a beast. Manned by Order of the Fiend Cultists, War Canoes carry fighters armed with a variety of firearms.
